Convert between generations
Pa5X → Pa4X and Pa3X family; Pa4X ↔ Pa3X family; Pa2X, Pa800, Pa1X, PA80, Pa50/Pa60 and microARRANGER Styles, Pads and Performances up to the Pa3X family and Pa4X.
Own Sounds come along
Copying or converting Styles brings only the own Sounds, Drum Kits, Multisamples and samples they use. Identical Sounds are reused, free slots are found and Styles are renumbered.
Style Manager
Two SETs side by side: copy, move, rename, delete, undo, drag and drop, multiselect, cut/copy/paste, bank swap and bank copy, search in every tab: Styles, Keyboard Sets, Pads, Sounds and Samples.
Sound replacements you choose once
The wizard lists the factory Sounds your keyboard lacks, most used first, with a suggested replacement. Your choice is saved and used in every later conversion and copy.
Live Player
Play any Style live from a keyboard connected to the computer, with chord recognition, all Style elements, four Pads, MIDI out to a real Pa, General MIDI sounds and the real samples of your own Sounds.
Style editing
Name, tempo, track Sounds, volume and pan. Copy Variations, Fills, Endings and chord variations between Styles, copy tracks, turn a track into a Pad or a Pad into a track, change length and meter.
Event editor and MIDI
Edit notes in a list or piano roll: add, delete, quantize, transpose, remove duplicate notes. Export a Style to MIDI with markers and import MIDI back into any element.
Samples and Sounds
Sample list with filters and duplicates, batch rename, sample editor (trim, normalize, fades, loops, EQ, rate conversion), Multisample zone editor, WAV / AIFF / KSF / SoundFont import, KMP and WAV export.
Auto-sampler and Time Slice
Record your own keyboard note by note into a new own Sound with velocity layers and loops. Slice a drum loop into a Drum Kit and a Pad that plays it in time.
SET → KST
Write Pa4X, Pa3X-family and Pa2X/Pa800 Styles as Pa5X Style files, on the layout of a Style from your own KST.
Reports and memory
HTML or CSV reports of a SET or KST: Styles with their Sounds, Keyboard Sets, Pads, own Sounds, Drum Kit keys and layers. A Memory window shows what fits your keyboard.
Backups and SongBook
Open .BKP backups and .pkg packages and extract them to a SET. Read SongBook entries (Pa2X, Pa3X family, Pa5X) and play an entry’s Style in the Live Player.
